Blossom Tree
The shadow that you see in my picture is the shadow of a lamp that my dad got me for Christmas. I always thought that it looked like a blossom tree because of the way the flower lights look but I never really took enough interest in it to actually find out. When taking pictures of the tree and its shadow I had to try all sorts of different angles because I wanted to make sure that you had a slight idea of what the object was but I didn't want to take away from the point of the image which was to capture its shadow. This light is sort of sentimental to me because it was from my dad and he gave it to me on Christmas which is my favorite time of the year and quit frankly when I am the happiest. This light is technically for me and all of my siblings but I think that I liked it the most out of all of us and sort of just claimed it as mine after a while. Although the light is sort of old and I got it a while ago I really never seemed to stop using it and that's why it was one of the first things that came to mind when I had to choose objects to take pictures of. Also I loved how clear and outlined the shadow was which made it easy to tell what it was.

Assistant Reflections
I particularly found it hard to take reflective photos and this photo was completely my friends idea. She was pretty much where I got the rest of my inspiration for this half of the project from. I was looking for reflective surfaces and I noticed my friends phone reflecting her face but it was hard to see and sort of dark looking. So my friend pointed the camera towards the sky and held her phone still while I tried to capture a picture of the phone capturing a reflection of the sky. While in the process of all of this my sister noticed us struggling with how the picture was turning out, there was a glare on my friends phone that showed up in my picture and the overall picture turned out dark looking, both due to the sun and where in the sky it was at the time. She decided that the best way to fix this problem would be for her stand against the sun and block it from the phone. The final picture turned out great but the process was a bit of a struggle.
